These comments have come from people with not only flat feet but ones that mentioned the Treatster Insoles have helped them like nothing else ever could, with plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, back problems, knee problems, the overweights with stressed feet, stress fractures, callous pain, arthritis, nerve damage, diabetic problems, etc.etc. ...High arches seem to be the only consistent challenge for the Treatster Insoles but even then most of the high arched have mixed feelings and many will end their complaints with comments such as, "Still the best insole I have found thus far."

...these sizes are a rough guide only - footwear sizing standards vary greatly from country to country,brand to brand, mfer to mfer, between styles, etc. .....PLEASE USE THE MEASUREMENTS ONLY to decide if this size will work for you.

heel thickness .....1/2" at its centre / 1/4" at the back edge - front pad thickness.....3/16" thick
Although reduced in thickness from our boot insole model these insoles are still more substantial and "beefier" than the average shoe insole (because they are working that way!). If your shoes are too snug before putting in these insoles ... this may be very well why you have uncomfort and problems with your feet. Trying to "squeeze" in a beefy insole is going to make things even worse and NOT better! Your feet need the Treatster insoles to help correct their ailments and the Treaster insoles need the space to spread with your feet where they need to spread.
I was shocked to find this thinner shoe model quite comparable with the even more padded boot model both in comfort and pain relief ... BUT I still believe the extra shock absorption and support of the boot insoles is more effective so please consider if you have more considerable foot problems to wear boots or to find orthotic friendly shoes to accomodate the thicker and more effective boot models.
The boot model is definetly recommended to be more effective for heel spurs/pain, plantars, etc. ...BUT to use the boot model for shoes you will have to be prepared to go shopping with them and search out larger sized, higher backed and deeper shoes overall or there are orthotic friendly shoes available with removeable bottoms. I have heard from a few women that they recommended Kumfs ....click on "store locator" to find retailers in the U.S. or Canada.where they are available or simply see examples of what styles you can get in ladies orthotic friendly shoes ..... http://www.kumfs.co.nz/orthotics/orthotics.aspx ......
Also, I have friends that would like to order some, as well as my Husband. He is diabetic, and occasionally experiences pain in his feet, so I know he will benefit greatly from your insoles, as well. I have not used the boot insoles yet, but I find the shoe insoles great. After a few days they molded to my feet. If I walk barefoot for a while, and then put shoes on with your insoles in them, my feet feel like they just came home. You know that feeling - aahhhh now I can relax and be myself. No better way to describe the feeling!!"

#3 - Boots only mens U.S. size 7 to 8 or womens U.S. size 8 to 9
........(mens U.S. size 7 to 8 shoe model molds may be another few months to complete)
#4. - Boots only mens U.S. size 9 to 11 or womens U.S. size 10 to 12
#5. - Shoes only mens U.S. size 9 to 11 or womens U.S. size 10 to 12
#6 - Shoes & boots - mens U.S. size 11.5 to 13.5 or mens U.K. size 10.5 to 12.5
#7. - Shoes & boots - mens U.S. size 14 to 16 or mens U.K. size 13 to 15
Please remember to use the length measurements (given in each ad), emailing me with a size requirement tells me nothing since the footwear industries can't agree on one universal length for any particular size. Emailing me at all does not get you anything that isn't on the above list anyway. ie. - If needing a womans size 6 ...simply measure and compare with the length of my womans size 7 to 8 - the length of my womans size 7 may be the length you need (or at least close enough for a soft edged insole).
...if your size does not fit into any of the above categories you would need to go to the next available size and then sculpt the insoles down with a razor knife cutting equal amounts from the back of the heels AND the toes to keep the arch location proper. (won't be pretty but your feet will still greatly appreciate them)

Being a foam manufacturer I had the skills & resources to try & help myself since none of the footwear "professionals" seemed to be able to ever come close.

Don't think the low price reflects a cheap product. Treatsterholics have earned these prices allowing me to pass on the savings they make happen being voluntary "pushers". The first single pair price of $9.99 lasted without an increase for over 2 1/2 years even when I saw 40% increases in the foam chemical costs due to a supply/demand "crisis" with the polyurethane chemical manufacturers. The free word of mouth advertising by the Treatsterholics definetly helped to keep that cost down for so long. $12.99 per pair is still an unbelieveable bargain for these substantial and effective orthotics, where many have claimed they've replaced extremely expensive custom orthotics for them.
