Try using wax to lubricate the cutting disc , apply to both sides of disc, give the disc a quick spin against the wax stick or block ( candle will do).
The cutting action will be smoother and prolongs disc life.
Note: if welding aluminium and stainless steel, the cut edge should be thoroughly cleaned before welding.
USE MINIMUM FORCE WEIGHT OF GRINDER IS ALL THAT IS REQUIRED
