Class 3 Wet Install in Metal Outlet Box
This item weighs 12.58kg (27.75lbs)
However, if you are still planning on sending me a money order, there are some questions you should ask yourself first.
Are you in the United States? Then you would have to send me an International Money Order. On the back of many American money orders, it says in small print “negotiable only within the United States and its possessions and territories.” or something to that effect. Unfortunately, since I am not in the United States, I can only accept money orders which can be negotiated outside of the United States.
Are you in Canada? Ok, if you are going to attempt to send me a money order or certified cheque, it will still have to clear. I don't know how long that will take.
Are you overseas? Have no illusions that you will receive the item you pay for with a money order any time soon. Again, there is nothing I can do about it.
Can you send a MO in CAD.If your bank or other MO-issuing institution is willing to issue a money order in Canadian dollars, it will probably speed things up, at least on this end. Not totally necessary, just something to consider.
How long are you willing to wait for the item? Even though the banks make money selling money orders to you, they don't like processing them. That's because it is risky. These days, with easy access to high-quality laser and hologram printers, any 'Dr. Hassan Mobutu, son of the late Emperor of the Republic of West Africa', can have fake MO's printed up and sent all over the world to be cashed by unsuspecting foreigners. Because of this, the banks refuse to release the funds from money orders until they receive the funds from the bank the MO was written on. That can take days, weeks, or months, even with today's light-speed technology. I don't know the answer why. Ask the teller at your bank and if she gives you a good answer, let the rest of us know what it is.
I'm not suggesting that you are issuing fake money orders – but the banks don't know the difference between your MO and the one from 'Sir Ibrahim Ngangwenge, Esteemed former Deputy Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Lower Iboland', drawn on the Bank of Scotland. The quality of the printing is the same. Therefore, everybody suffers.
