The LS-Smart system combines a non-contact laser measurement system with a motorized Rollomatic Concentricity Pro gauge. It provides the most reliable measurement possible of both diameter and concentricity in one step. The system is capable of measuring the diameter, taper and run-out on cylindrical components, and can ideally be used on cutting tools with an even or uneven number of flutes, as well as on rotary components with or without interrupted cuts.
The LS-Smart software (PC-based) tailored for this system assures instant and accurate recording. The measured results can be displayed, printed or exported in spreadsheet format

For standard component sizes Ø 1.0-25.4 mm and length 28-100 mm
(1.1"-3.9") Rotary Drive: Non-slip motorized driving roller (patent pending) allows parts such as cutting tools to be rotated at extreme slow speeds for more accurate measurement.
To ensure that there is no axial movement during rotation, the special
end-stop (patent pending) has a ball shape allowing only one point of
contact on the centre of the component.
Digital display, double-micrometer for rough and fine adjustment
Laser scanner : KEYENCE Series LS-5000 with resolution 0.05 microns
PC based (PC not included) with graphic display with read-out resolution 1 micron.
