The RSG1000B has been designed to fill the need for a basic RF signal generator for design, development, and testing. We ve included the performance and features you need every day, and priced it to let you equip every bench in your shop or classroom.
The broadband frequency range covers 100kHz all the way to 1.1GHz with 10Hz continuous tuning! 90 set-up memories are provided for custom user operations and saved settings to speed up your frequent tasks.
The RSG1000B features an RS232 control interface. This interface supports polled readings plus download and upload of all setup memories.
Frequency synthesis is referenced to an internal 0.1ppm 50MHz timebase. This timebase is STANDARD equipment with the RSG1000B!
At 12" x 6" x 12" and 11 lbs., the RSG1000B it is suitable not only for bench use but for mobile applications and to use as a field service tool or local oscillator.
The display is a bright blue vacuum fluorescent display you can read from across the room, and displays all operating parameters. A numeric membrane keypad enables direct entry of all values. All functions are accessible without using a shift or second function key for real ease of use. We have also incorporated a smart knob which has analog feel, but is intelligently enabled when entering or changing parameters in any field.
