Fiber optic illuminator LFOD150 features a dimmable150W halogen light source and must be used with aseparate light transmitter (see below). Dimmer switchenables operator to select the exact amount of lightdesired. Even for sensitive jobs such as wire bondingand soldering of fine-pitch components, it deliversplenty of light. Illuminator can be placed on the worksurface in its conventional position facing the operator,or ?stood up? in a vertical position on rubber feet locatedon its back. Fiber optic ring light LFORL encases highquality glass fibers into its housing to provide 360°shadow-free uniform illumination that makes viewing ofinspection and assembly applications a snap. Its 36&length cable, made with interlocking stainless steelsheathing, enables the illuminator to be positionedoutside the immediate work area, thus saving valuablespace. Gooseneck transmitters are 18& wands that areenclosed in stainless steel sheathing to ?stay put? afterpositioning. The wands can be focused on a single pointto provide intense, shadow-free illumination. Anadjustable lens at the end of each wand enables theoperator to change the focus of the light from a narrow,intense beam to a wider, more diffused pattern.
