This is a Craftsman band saw made for the Sears & Roebuck Co. by King Seeley. It will cut just about anything, if you put the right blade on it. I have seen different blades for this model that will cut metal, wood, plastic, and fiber glass( and a fiber glass blade will cut carbon fiber). It currently has a wood blade on it, that was never used( so you are starting out with a new blade). This is a Craftman model# 103.24300. It has a pivoting cutting base(up to 60 degrees). It has 12" throat clearance. It works great, no funny bearing noises. It has an adjustable guide, which is also removable for cutting large pieces. I think the pictures should speak for themselves. It runs on standard 110 household current. The v-belt that runs it is newer, and is also a standard size that can be purchased at your local auto parts store. This is a quality machine that can be used for your home or commercially.
It uses a 64" x 1/4" blade, many types available online in this size.
