Comparable to Polycarbonate. Polyester sheet offers the kind of fabricating, forming and finishing base that really makes a difference on the job.
Polyester also has impact strength up to ten times that of acrylic sheet. It provides many of the qualities of polycarbonate but at a lower cost.

MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS: Easily formed, diecuts easy, Good impact strength, Cold formable
MAXIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE: 212°F
Roll polished surface. No flow marks or die lines.
Completely combustible with no dioxins given off into the atmosphere and no toxic substances if landfilled.
Much stronger than many other competing materials such as acrylic, even at -40° F.
Can be cold formed or heat bent. Will bend in half the time of an acrylic. Will cold form to any angle on sheet metal brake-press.
Can be drilled, routed or sawed as easy or easier than other plastics.
Silk screens easily using recommended copolyester inks available from most ink manufacturers.
No pre-drying like polycarbonate. Lower energy costs than any other clear plastic. Reduced cycle times.
Shelving, shelf dividers, racks for greeting cards and general merchandise.
Flat, formed, screened and back lit.
