"the Detroiter" Electrode Manufacturing Block
This block is Manufactured by Sunspot Tooling Systems and is part of the SquareOne sinker system. The clamping mechanism shown, pulls down the DrawBar, and is the exclusive patent applied for design of Sunspot. The clamp rolls as you tighten your electrode which minimizes side load on the DrawBar which would result in loss of location of the Holder. The plastic retainer is spring loaded which resets the rollers to their proper location every time you install a new electrode. This feature is but one of the reasons for the amazing accuracy of the SquareOne system.
This block accepts electrodes from 31 mm to 70 mm
