Argus Technologies Fusible Battery Disconnect Panel
New unused unit includes complete manual with wiring/hookup info.
Can be used for original application (Telecom battery power systems 24 or 48 volt systems), or for SOLAR or other specialty applications.
For those interested in the internal components, please note the following major parts:
1. 24 vdc coil, 1200amp non-latching contactor with heavy copper adapter plates
2. Heavy copper (plated) buss plates for battery cables (2pcs)
3. 400 amp, 170 volt fuse # TPL-CR (BUSS brand)
4. Control ciruit board with front panel LED status indicators.
5. Insulated stand-offs for copper buss plates (9pcs., Glastic brand)
7. External cabinet small toggle switch
8. Heavy duty hinged steel cabinet, 17"x17"x9"
For those interested in using this unit for Solar applications, I see no reason why you could not remove the active circuit board and contactor, thus leaving you with a passive battery buss bar lug center, in a great safety cabinet with front panel space for readouts or meters. (Unit has pre-punched standard industrial readout openings w/covers.
Enough room to mount a shunt if needed; Perhapes a large DC circuit breaker also.
Case has cutout for cable in/out with lexan panel you cut to fit your cable arrangement.
NOTE:This is the last one of these cabinets I have. Was just found in my shop.
