Like New 5000 # Walkie Electric Roll / Reel Specialty Platform Lift Truck
Offered for purchase is a LIKE NEW specialized 5000 lb. walk behind or walkie style 24 volt electric platform Lift Truck. This specialty lift truck was built to horizontally carry and precisely position large heavy rolls of paper, cellulose, or steel reels by resting in a custom cradle. It even has a side shift with a 3 inch travel. This walkie by Advance Vehicles was placed in service in March of 2001 and only has 20 actual hours. It is recharged with a standard 24V battery charger not included. If you need a standard 2 foot X 4 foot platform lift and have no use for the roll carrier, the truck can be modified relatively easily into a mold / die lift by removing the cradle. The hydraulic side shift ram could be repositioned for another use or removed. It is a heavy walkie at nearly 4000 lb. with battery, but then it needs to be to carry a 5000 lb. load with a 62 inch lift. The pictures pretty much tell the story. Everything works very well. The battery comes up to charge, the mast seal let a very little oil by over time but does not leak. This is essentially a new, cushion tire, platform, walker type, lift truck. It looks and performs like a new one, but at a fraction of the price.
