*ITEM: ULTRA SAFE Retractable Steel Safty Fall Lanyard-Used
*MEASURES: Maybe 12'. The specs are worn down or off and they are hard to read. I looked at the tag with a magnifying glass and it appeared to read 12'. The writing is really lite and very hard to read.
*CONDITION: Not working. This retractable lanyard was tested before being put up for sale and I locked it up. It was working alright before the test and I guess I went a little to hard on it. The steel cord was pulling out OK and retracting OK but I started to pull it out faster and and harder and when it was retracting it locked up and will not pull out anymore. Only had 3 inches to go before it was fully retracted. This lanyard is locked up with 3 inches left out. Looks like the previous owner may have opened it up in the past to unlock it. This retractable steel lanyard should be overhauled anyway before use as a maintenance and precautionary measure.
