Our wheels offer the following features:
• At a Rockwell 32 – 36 our anvils resist dinging that can occur on softer wheels. They are hard enough to wheel over clean welds and give a nice shiny finish on the part you are wheeling. However, they are just soft enough that you can still repair them yourself if you accidentally roll over slag.
• The degree of runout on the anvil is very important. Runout is how round it is with respect to its axis. If you have a large runout, the force on the part being wheeled will vary as the anvil rolls. This will make control of the part difficult and hurt its consistency. This can lead to a poorly shaped wavy surface of inconsistent thickness. To prevent this, we guarantee all of our Anvils to have less than .001 run out!
• We machine flats (contacts) on all our wheels. A flat provides better control of the part being wheeled, makes shaping much faster and provides you with a much smother line free finish on your part.
• We make our anvils in quantity which allows us to keep our quality high and our price low. Our prices are less than half of many of our competitors. We would rather get our product out more people and keep our machines running. Also, we stock our product, so no waiting.
• Our anvils come with preinstalled precision ground and sealed bearings with the highest Load Rate and it’s own 1/2†axle
• Axles are available in 2.5, 2.75 and 3.00 Inches long. 2.5†long axels will be included if not specified otherwise.
• Our wheels are individually boxed to ensure they arrive to you in perfect condition.
• All our anvils have radiused corners to prevent you from getting lines on your panels. This keeps your work looking professional and eliminates a lot of finishing.
• These wheels are medium sizes and ideal for most situations. They are perfect for motorcycles, patch panels, and anyone wanting a bench top wheeling machine. These will also work with larger machines and larger panels, but will just take more passes.
