This is a 5 axis Cnc Plasma arc machine There was a Hypertherm 1000 that was used with this unit I believe you can hook up whatever Plasma machine you want with it. This unit was used for coping large pipe hence the 5 axis. Of coarse you don't have to use the 5 axis you could use 1 if you wanted. They used the x y and z then had a spinning torch head and the head had an up down also, for coping pipe you need more control. This unit was purchased I believe in 2002 and they paid 52,000 for it. Last year they closed the doors and we purchased it. This unit had a large table however it was special to pipe so we did not keep it so you will need to make your own table and water tank. We talked to the company that made the control and he told me just the control would be 12000 so start adding motors and that adds up quick. I was able to fire it up and make it move however I did not know how to run it. The fella I talked to from the company told me you can hook up a laptop to it and cut anything.
