Monitors AC power (alternating current) of standard North American outlet (120 Volt). The unit can monitor AC power voltage surges, outages, variations in frequency and also the temperature of its environment.
The end user can set the limits for each alarm type and select whether an alarm is generated. When unit has one or more alarms, the red LED indicates alarms stored in unit.
ACScout has as battery to allow it to keep the time and date even when the AC power is off. Battery life should exceed 10 years.
Alarms are stored in a nonvolatile flash memory. The memory can hold up to 400 alarms and can be cleared at any time by the user.
