This unit comes from a local high school shop.
The opening through the shear is 32". The edge guides are 30.5".
TESTING: I've used this shear a few times over the past several months. It has always worked just fine. It cuts through sheet metal cleanly and will even cut through paper. I did not see any nicks or dings in the blades.
DAMAGE: None found beyond normal signs of use.
